Reservation Policy- Kids from a particular breeding may be reserved in advance of kidding without a deposit. Once a kid is born a 50% deposit is required to hold until weaning. To place a reservation on a kid, please email us at westcreekfarm@gmail.com and indicate which breeding you would like to reserve a kid from, as well as whether you want a doeling, buckling, or wether.
Nigerian Dwarf doe and buck kids will be sold with application for registration with the American Dairy Goat Association.
Most of our Nigerian Dwarf does are polled (naturally hornless) a genetic trait they pass on to 50% of their kids. All kids born with horns will be disbudded between 5-15 days of age.
Kids may be sold as bottle babies as early as 3 weeks by special arrangement. All other kids will be weaned at 8 weeks.
We raise our goats naturally and maintain an Injection Free Herd. We have found that strong genetics and good nutrition are the best defense against illness. Our herd has always tested Disease Free. We do not vaccinate any of our goats. All does receive oral selenium supplement while pregnant and kids will receive selenium after birth.
