Seasonally we have surplus milk available for sale in limited quantities. For reasons too lofty for us to understand, within the state limits of California it is not safe for humans to drink raw goat milk. We therefore sell our goat milk for soap making and for feeding to all animals (which for some reason thrive on raw goat milk even in California...) other than the human species.
Our goats are "injection free". We do not give vaccinations or antibiotics and all necessary supplements are given orally. We believe that the gastrointestinal tract plays an essential role in "deciding" what should be absorbed into the body.
In addition to grazing on local grasses, weeds, bushes and trees, our goats are fed orchard grass hay to avoid the GMO alfalfa which is prevalent. Our milking goats are also fed Organic alfalfa pellets, sprouted field peas, sprouted wheat, and Organic goat dairy pellets from Modesto Milling.
